Stores deploying persistent Redis object caching combined with edge HTML caching (Cloudflare APO or edge rules) achieved a 68.4% pass rate, outperforming standard Shopify storefronts. The bottleneck in WooCommerce is rarely the frontend DOM; it is almost entirely backend PHP rendering and unindexed wp_postmeta lookups.
